Our Buildings Consist Of...
Treated Posts
3 ply 2"x 6" factory glue laminated with bottom 6ft .60 treatment.
Treated Bottom Plate
2" x 6" Treated Bottom Plate. (Bottom Plate can be used as a form for pouring a concrete slab).
Double Top Plate
Double 2" x 8" (minimum) Top Plate. 2” x 10” or 2” x 12” used for spans 36’ wide or over.
Wall Girts
Standard 2" x 6" wall girts (24" OC Spacing)
Wind Bracing
Bookshelf Bracing, 4' on center attached to posts and wall girts (on all walls)
Factory Trusses
Factory Engineered Trusses set on 5’ centers. Top Chord and Bottom Chord are typically 2’’ x6’’. 4’x2’ centers are used on some buildings.
Roof Purlins
2” x 4” Roof Purlins spaced 24” apart, laid flat and overlapped approx. 1’.

V-Braces
V-Braces are used on open walls, sheds, and porches.
Painted Metal
29 or 26 gauge metal – Galvanized, Galvalume or Painted – Galvalume metal has over 20 year manufacturer’s limited warranty. Painted metal has a 30 year manufacturer’s limited warranty. Metal attached with color matching screws.
Note:
All lumber is #2 Hem Fir/Douglas Fir (truss bracing may be #3 grade). Lumber that has ground contact is fully treated. Treated lumber has a lifetime manufacturer’s limited warranty. Lumber can be upgraded for additional cost, or modified to meet local building restrictions.
